I was intrigued with Moroccan Ogees – but how to get the horizontal lines?  I introduced the idea, with an attempt to write my way into an intuitive explanation of what was going on, Then I did another summary because I was still working on how to talk about them.  An intuitive, wholistic description was still out of my grasp, so I turned to step by step descriptions:

• • Sliding through garter stitch
  • Sliding through Ribbing
  • Sliding through a stockinette ground
  • Sliding through reverse stockinette ground
  • and comparing them.
• How the stitch behaves in linen and cotton (very well!)

I still haven’t filmed video, and none of my soon to be published patterns actually slide through the same grounds, but that just gives me future blog topics for when the GAL is done.
