Jill named her pattern Somerset after the area her ancestors came from, cool tie in to the collection name!
Lindsay calls Jill “Yoda,” I was excited to have her editorial voice on my pattern development. Jill’s blog has even more good advice.
Jill’s pattern has tutorials, charts, and links to customization calculators. I think she anticipated all the helps and questions knitters might have about enjoying this project.
For a great overview, see Lindsay’s write up about the collaboration

“Yoda” she is! So full of design knowledge and her website is packed with helpful hints for knitters and designers alike. I had missed that about the name – cool for our Identity collection!
I didn’t notice until this blog post went live, but she used the other pattern as ribbing. I really, really like that!
