What is your favorite thing about the gal?
I love that this is a chatty group, but my favorite thing is that like any KAL, it really motivate and inspires me.
what is your current # of wips?
At least 7 on the needles and about 10 in my head!
What are you currently working on?
My second GAL project: Fisherman’s Fabric by 10 Hours or Less.

On Instagram.
How many years have you participated?
I’m a first-timer.
What Do you like best about it?
I have been introduced to a lot of designers that I was previously unaware of.

What time of day do You knit or crochet?
Any chance I get!
Where do you craft? (can I have a photo of your favorite spot?)
Anywhere and everywhere…on the couch, in bars, in the car or on a plane, at a movie, even at work.
Is there TV? Music? Podcast? Audiobook? Anything? No distractions? (My favorite is when my husband reads aloud to our kids and I get to do handwork.)
Usually TV, sometimes podcasts.
Which Social Gathering do you knit or crochet at?
Once a month I attend my local Knitting Guild, and also once a month I meet a group of my coworkers at a coffee shop for a few hours. I think we have been meeting at the same coffee shop on the third Friday for about eight years!
Do you have a favorite snack for while you do handwork?
Beer, ha ha or coffee.

Either is fine by me.

Metal

I’m too ADD for that.
Do you have a yarn weight that you prefer or one that you really don’t enjoy working with?
No and no.
What is your favorite fiber mix (superwash, merino, nylon/merino mix, hemp, linen, acrylic mix, cotton, alpaca…)?
Squishy merino, alone or mixed. You can punish me slowly with linen.

What is a technique you want to try?
Mosaic slipped stitches
What favorite technique is currently in your repertoire?
Fading colors (does that count as a technique?)
YES.
Do you have a tip or ‘trick’ to share?
For a SSK, just knit the next two stitches together through the back loop.
Do you like to learn techniques from video or text tutorial best?
I’m a very visual learner so I usually start with text/drawings then watch a video as well.
