1 Do all the charts first. If I can diagram them, I can write the text.
2 Name parts of the pattern in the schematic and diagram so I have hooks to hang references to.
3 Use color in the diagrams, and the text (in Latexa, it’s {\color{colorname}the text to the tinted}.
4 Read some contemporary crochet patterns, I need to get better at writing instructions for crochet!
