Mamma Bear replied to her family e-mail and read the homeschool co-op announcements: ah, this is from the editor, she’s getting to us early, I thought she wasn’t going to work on this until later in the week: Team! the editor wrote us a note!
Everyone assembled, somewhat breathless.
Butterfly: Doesn’t she like it?
Patternist: Shh, I have to really think, we are comparing row 6 in the chart and the row – I don’t remember this anymore, Sample Maker, I need you – pretend you are crocheting this row.
Butterfly: But doesn’t she like it?
Sample Maker: Umm, yeah, there is an extra sc in the row. Remember revising it? I think we got the first 5 rows changed, then forgot about the rest of that section.
Editor: What a good thing the tech editor is seeing this with new eyes, I couldn’t see the changes either.
Butterfly: But doesn’t she like it?
Mamma Bear: Of course she does honey, we are paying her to find the goofs, remember? That’s her job.
