The Pegasus Constellation Pattern gives instructions for a drawstring bag, and 4 juggling balls. (5 items, 5 stars in the constellation) The bag stands 8.5 inches, 21.5 cm high, 18.5
inches, 46.5 cm in circumference. In the photo above it’s holding 9 juggling balls are 3 inches, 7.5cm tall at rest. I made the bag with most of a skein of Garnet colored Nebula yarn from Anzula, and the balls with leftovers from the Ebla and Achird socks, about 10 grams of fingering weight yarn each, a bit more for the color work ball. If the bag is lined, it could hold a sock knitting project including needles without them falling through the sides.
Space – named, sparkle yarn for a star decorated and named project bag anyone?

There is a stockinette ball too, next in complexity is the knit/purl one. I think it might be my favorite .
The colorwork lets you mix up colors, I needed to go up a needle size, apparently I tighten up when I do stranded work. For those of you who like written instructions, this one has writtens as well as charts! It’s the vintage style, ‘With mc, k5, with cc k3…’
My neighbor’s cat loves to hang out with people, she joined me for the photoshoot. Actual juggling spooks her, but she kept me company for all of these photos.
The twist stitch ball matches the socks and drawstring bag.
For those of you who really love matching, you can pick your favorite juggling ball pattern, and make as many of them as you think your juggler will need (including extras for the ones that will get lost under furniture.) I can’t wait to see the gifts you all knit from this pattern!
