Main color in St st, contrast color in i-cord and following fabric
From the right side, cast on 3 sts with contrast color. Turn.
Row 1: With contrast color, kfb, k2, k2tog (the last of the cc i-cord sts and the first of the main color sts receiving the insertion) sl 3 sts back onto the right needle. You will be leaving your first increased stitch on the right needle.
Row 2: With contrast color, work a right lifted increase, k2, SSK (the last of the cc i-cord sts and the first of the main color sts receiving the insertion) sl 3 sts back onto the right needle. You will be leaving your first increased stitch on the right needle.
Repeat Row 2 until all of the initial sts have been worked. The CC i-cord sts will pile up on the right needle. Bind off the 3 cc sts (Or put them on holder until you can graft them to their cast on).
I’m not thrilled with how the blue shows through the white i-cord.
