QuiltQuazyKnitter’s Kaapeli Mittens use one of my favorite tricks; the ribbing grows organically into the decorative pattern.
It’s the overall shape of the Kaapeli Mittens that make them coordinate so nicely with the Holly Mittens. With one hand in geometric cables, and the other in organic leaves, the contrast would keep boredom away, but the shape and same yarn would keep your mittens look like a pair.
With coordinating contrast mittens, you have to buy twice the patterns, but since you don’t get bored making the second hand, you make the second hand.
And as someone who sells patterns, I can’t say I have any problem with you buying more of them 😉
