Butterfly the Visual Inspiration Girl was less sunny than usual. She announced adamantly: The chart isn’t pretty; fix it.
Mamma Bear replied:But first we need to take a shower then teach the children; I think they’re watching a movie. She was not hyperventilating, because she’d set the egg timer. Everyone was supposed to act like grown ups soon. But she wasn’t so sure they should be designing in the first place with children awake.
Butterfly: It’s Pixar, so it’s a good movie, The chart isn’t pretty, something is off.
Editor:Ah, the symmetry and spacing, we should look up the Inkscape manual for how to make concentric circles for guides so we can adjust the white space, and a line the stitches more smoothly.
Patternist: We found an inaccuracy in the buttonholes, but shouldn’t we be fixing the text now so they can both be accurate? What if we forget?
Butterfly: Doesn’t this sort of feel like knitting, building something in a soothing way? Let’s keep going on the chart.
Mamma Bear: The egg timer went off. It’s time to close the computer and take care of: Laundry. Dishes. Getting Dressed. The Children Must Be Educated.
Editor: Ladies; Mamma Bear is right.
Butterfly: But this is FUN!
Patternist: But the text is inaccurate!
Editor: Mamma Bear is right, but patternist, we’ll make a note in the blog to fix the pattern so it matches the chart, and write a note to the technical editor to keep an eye on it, this is an important issue and we don’t want to forget it. Thank you all for your work, it is time to homeschool.
Butterfly: Do the history books have illustration?
Mamma Bear: I’m setting the egg timer again so your blog note doesn’t get too long.
Butterfly: We can’t stop blogging, we need to find just the right pictures to illustrate history!
Editor: That’s the other blog dear.
