I’ve written shorthand instructions through the sleeves, and I’m 1.5 inches shy of the armholes on the body of actually knitting it. Wow, when you make the smallest size, things move along. Though I won’t be able to wear it.
I was trying to write the whole pattern in it’s entirety, until I realized that the deadline is for the f.o. for my photographer, not the pattern. And I’m at the funny spot where I have to figure out the yoke before I figure out the raglan shaping – I need to know how many stitches I’m aiming for before I Know how many to decrease away. So, off to the stitchmastery to chart my weird yoke full of extended loop stitches. If I get the numbers down so I can knit the sample, I can get the pattern tidy later.
I’m not sure how to name this pattern; I named the crochet version Attleboro after the town I lived in when I made the first version in 1987. But I live here again and Attleboro Sweater Knit version is a really long title. And a boring one. I could name it after another town I’ve lived in; Nyack, Rochester, Waukegan, Houghton, or Nickleson. Or street names, though West and South are pretty bland for sweater titles, Elim is OK.
What titles do you all think?
