Ágnes Kutas-Keresztes ‘s Selene Mitts can be worked as mittens or mitts.
I chose the mitten version as a coordinating contrast because like the Holly Mittens they were made in a sport weight yarn, and a rounded, not pointy finger tip. And they are so very pretty, with well proportioned cables and a fun transition from wrist cables to an oxo cable on the backs.
If you want to find your own coordinating contrast mittens, go to Ravelry or Patternfish and search for mittens, limiting your search to patterns with the same weight yarn, and technique. Then look through the thumbnails for mittens with the same shape. Try not to be overly influenced by color, your mittens will be whatever color your yarn is.
With coordinating contrast mittens, you have to buy twice the patterns, but since you don’t get bored making the second hand, you make the second hand.
And as someone who sells patterns, I can’t say I have any problem with you buying more of them 😉
