I added up how long it took me to draw a chart on Inkscape yesterday, and estimated that I should be done with the charts for Holly Mittens in a week and a half, if I work at the present rate.
I’d hoped to release the pattern before Christmas. But that was before I decided to launch the website, and actually, before I wrote up the Attleboro Sweater for Inside Crochet. My internal nudge didn’t notice the project swap up though.
It really is true that the business side of things takes as long as the design/writing side of things.
