I have finally started on the knitted version of the Attleboro Sweater.
And now I know that I cannot count. I used the tubular cast on for my swatch, but could I do it for 172 sts? After 3 times trying and frogging, no, I guess not. Of course, the second time I was also arguing with my husband.
This morning I tried the cable cast on with knit and purl alignments – but lost count and pattern again. So finally I just cast on in plain cable cast on. So counting is hard. Counting and arguing is impossible. Counting after making up is much easier, but I’m still glad that part is over.
