For charting, writing, blogging, surfing Raverly, Checking my sales statistics obessively keeping up with sales, I work at my computer station in the workshop. My husband calls it the office, the kids call it the computer room.
My computer used to belong to a lab, but when they bought new, the manager gave the old ones to my husband, who installed Ubuntu on them for me. The lab used animal names for them, we renamed them but keeping with the theme, my son wanted wyvern. If he got a cool myth, I wanted one too; a girly ’80’s one, but hey, I was a girl in the ’80s. I asked M to take the photos this afternoon, the winter light was coming in the west window nicely, I just changed into a hand crocheted sweater first. I asked M if I never smiled on the computer.
He told me no, I don’t, and it’s hard to get my attention when I’m on it too.
